I am an American citizen living and working in Kathmandu, Nepal. We felt the earthquake in our home today around 6:45PM. The whole house was shaking and we all immediately evacuated the house. Once outside we stood in a clear area and just watched the phone and power lines moving back and forth. It lasted only a few minutes. I was experiencing motion sickness and almost threw up. There have been no after shocks that we could feel here. I am writing at 9:15PM.
