I was sitting in traffic in Kalamazoo MI and I thought my sisters car was acting up When we felt the shake. I looked around to see if maybe someone had hut us and trying to push the car, but nope. Her engine light was on but no smoke. We soon stopped at a store and discussion with other patrons confirmed shaking.

I felt it like crazy in Plymouth, MI. I was lying down on a 2nd floor bed when it began to shake extremely. I sat up in shock and said to myself, “is this an earthquake?” It actually moved the bed about 6 inches from the wall. I also thought the old house I’m in might be falling into a sinkhole.

I noticed the television and a mirror shaking in the living room. First thought it was a heavy truck going by but there was no noise. This was about 12:24 p.m . Saw this again a few minutes ago at 3:46 p.m. Both lasted long enough to watch the shaking for many seconds. I live in South Bend, Indiana.

According to all information published so far, Scotts, MI was the epicenter. The last quake centered in MI was in the same place in 1947. That one was a 4.6, this was a 4.2. I guess that we are good for another 76 years?
