A light earthquake with magnitude 4.8 (ml/mb) was detected on Thursday, 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Shimabara in Japan. Exact location of event, depth 10 km, 130.4709° East, 32.7629° North. Global date and time of event UTC/GMT: 28/04/16 / 2016-04-28 06:30:52 / April 28, 2016 @ 6:30 am. A tsunami warning has not been issued (Does not indicate if a tsunami actually did or will exist). The temblor was picked up at 15:30:52 / 3:30 pm (local time epicenter). The epicenter was at a depth of 10 km (6 miles). Event ids that are associated to the earthquake: us10005c3n.
