Earthquake location -31.6963S, -178.5545WA light earthquake magnitude 4.4 (ml/mb) strikes 43 km SE of L’Esperance Rock, New Zealand (27 miles) on Tuesday. The temblor was reported at 04:37:08 / 4:37 am (local time epicenter). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km (6 miles) below the earth’s surface.
