Earthquake location -18.1645S, -178.144WA great earthquake with magnitude 8.2 (ml/mb) was detected on Saturday, 281 km NNE of Ndoi Island, Fiji (175 miles). Global time and date of event 19/08/18 / 2018-08-19 00:19:37 / August 19, 2018 @ 12:19 am UTC/GMT. The earthquake was roughly at a depth of 559.56 km (348 miles).
