Strong earthquake 6.7 mag, 64 km SE of Neiafu, Tonga


Earthquake location -19.1S, -173.6WA earthquake magnitude 6.7 (ml/mb) has struck on Thursday, 64 kilometers (40 miles) from Neiafu in Tonga. Exact location of earthquake, longitude -173.6 West, latitude -19.1 South, depth = 10 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was roughly 10 km (6 miles) below the earth’s surface.
